the method involves planting diverse native species in close proximity, encouraging
rapid growth and the development of dense green spaces in a short time. This
innovative approach is particularly beneficial in urban areas where space is limited, offering an eco-friendly solution to pollution and deforestation.
As part of the workshop, Eco Club members demonstrated how biodegradable waste can be converted into organic compost and used for plantation. Students actively participated by planting various saplings, applying the knowledge and skills they acquired through the project.
Chief Guest Mr. B.S. Jaiswal praised the efforts of the Eco Club, noting that the
Miyawaki method enables large-scale tree plantation within a limited timeframe, making it an effective strategy for urban greening. Principal, Mr. S.K. Mishra emphasized the dual benefit of waste reduction and environmental conservation through this technique. He commended the students for their innovative approach and commitment to sustainability.
